[Executive Dashboard module]
On this page, all relevant risks are included and categorized into meta-groups (aka ‘Issues’) to facilitate prioritization:
- Action Required – Bundles risks with a higher likelihood* that require immediate review and action, further split into:
- New to assess – Risks not covered in the risk section of your 10-K or Annual Report.
- Existing to review – Risks currently fully or partially covered in the risk section of your 10-K or Annual Report.
- Monitored – Bundles risks with a lower likelihood* that should be monitored, further split into:
- New to monitor – Risks not covered in the risk section of your 10-K or Annual Report.
- Existing to monitor – Risks currently fully or partially covered in the risk section of your 10-K or Annual Report.
*Likelihood: The extent to which a risk is identified as likely to occur based on its prevalence in the sources analyzed by Datamaran. A “likelihood score” is assigned to each risk and represents the relative importance of that risk against the other risks based on an average of the individual source’s rank scores. Each source has a different form of the raw score due to the nature and language of their content, but each is normalized using the same percentile rank method to make them comparable.
In each column, risks are listed in order of likelihood (i.e. the first risk to appear in the list is the risk with the highest likelihood within that category). The “Existing to review” and “Existing to monitor” columns also indicate coverage within your existing 10-K or Annual Report risk section. Each “existing” risk is either:
-‘Fully covered’: meaning that all topics included in the risk, as defined in the selected industry(-ies)’s universe of risks, are covered in your 10-K or Annual report risk section.
- ‘Partially covered’: meaning that at least one topic included in the risk, as defined in the selected industry(-ies)’s universe of risks, is not covered in your 10-K or Annual report risk section.
