The Datamaran Regulatory Search feature provides you with powerful tools to monitor the dynamic global regulatory landscape. We understand that finding precisely the information you need can be challenging, especially when dealing with complex legal terms and citations.
Our new Expert-Curated Searches feature is designed to solve this. It provides a library of pre-built, complex search queries, validated by regulatory experts, that you can execute instantly.
Why Expert-Curated Searches Matter
This feature instantly transforms how you approach regulatory monitoring by providing three core benefits:

How to Access and Run a Curated Search
Follow these simple steps to utilize the Expert-Curated Searches library and instantly retrieve results based on expert-validated logic.

Navigate to the Regulatory Search Module:
From the main navigation bar, click on Search and then select Regulatory Search.

Locate the Curated Searches:
In the initial screen, you will find the available curated searches listed directly below the main text search field.

Select a Curated Query:
Select the specific curated query you wish to run by clicking on its name. For example: CSRD Implementation Status.

Execute the Search:
Once you click the query name, the system will instantly load the regulations included in the expert-validated search logic.

Analyze and Refine Your Results:
To further narrow or refine your results, click the Filter icon on the right side of the screen. You can then utilize the standard filters available (e.g., Geo scope, Targeted entity, etc.) on the left panel.
Staying Up-to-Date and Monitoring
One of the key advantages of using Expert-Curated Searches is that the query logic and underlying results are never static. The content is updated weekly to reflect the very latest regulations and legislative developments added to the Datamaran database.
To ensure you never miss a new regulation relevant to the expert query, you can save and monitor the search:

Execute the Curated Search: First, click on the name of the Expert-Curated Search you wish to monitor to load its results.

Save and Set Notifications:
Locate and click the Save and Notify button, found in the top right area of the results.
In the pop-up window, provide a descriptive name for your search (e.g., Monitoring CSRD Implementation) and click on Save.

Confirm and Monitor:
Click Save. You will now receive automatic email notifications whenever a new regulation is added to the Expert-Curated Search's results, ensuring you are always up-to-date.
The frequency of notifications can be managed from Notifications in the main menu.
