Troubleshooting Passwords

Password issues can block access to Datamaran at the moment you need it most. These steps help you resolve common problems quickly and know what to share with our team if you need help.

Before you start

  • Make sure you’re using the email address that was invited to Datamaran.

  • The initial password set-up link is time-limited and expires after 7 days.

Issue 1: My password set-up link has expired

Password set-up links expire after 7 days. If you try to use an expired link, you may see an “expired” / “invalid link” message or be unable to continue.

How to fix it
  • If you already have an account and need to set a new password, go to the login page and select Forgot your password.

  • If you’re a new user and haven’t set a password before, contact our team to re-send a password set-up link.

Contact us at implementationandtraining@datamaran.com with:

  • Your work email address

  • Whether this is new account set-up or a password reset

  • A screenshot of the message you see, when possible

Issue 2: I didn’t receive the password set-up/reset email

What to try
  1. Check Spam/Junk and any security folders (for example Quarantine).

  2. Search your inbox for Datamaran.

  3. Wait a few minutes, then request the email again (avoid requesting repeatedly in quick succession).

If it still doesn’t arrive, email implementationandtraining@datamaran.com and we can help resend it or check delivery.

Issue 3: The link says “invalid” even though it’s recent

This can happen if a newer link was generated after the one you’re trying to use.

What to try
  1. Open the latest password email you received and use that link.

  2. Try opening the link in an incognito/private browser window.

  3. If you copied the link, make sure you copied the full URL (no missing characters).

If the issue continues, email implementationandtraining@datamaran.com with the error message (and a screenshot if possible).

Issue 4: I forgot my password

  1. On the login page, click Forgot your password.

  2. Follow the steps in the email to create a new password.

  3. If you don’t receive the email, follow the steps in Issue 2 above.
