The Benchmark Trends tab helps you explore ESG disclosure trends over time and across report types, so you can see which topics are gaining traction in financial and sustainability reports.
Understanding the trends chart

The chart shows the average amount of emphasis placed on the selected topics in company reports from the last five years to the present.

Results are based on your benchmark analysis inputs, giving you insight into how management focus has evolved across this period.

Reports are associated by year of publication. The most recent year is shown with a dashed line, indicating that results may still change as new reports are published.
Default view and customization

By default, the chart displays the top 5 topics with the strongest growth over the past 5 years.

You can add or remove topics at any time using the topic selector.

For the clearest view, it’s best to select a maximum of 10 topics when displaying the trend chart.
