Datamaran’s Benchmark Trends tab allows you to see ESG disclosure trends over time and across report types to see which topics are becoming increasingly referenced in financial, sustainability reports, and regulatory filings.
It presents a chart based on the benchmark analysis inputs showing the average amount of attention - or emphasis - placed on the selected topics in company reports from the last 10 years to the present. This provides relevant detail on the evolution of management focus across this period.
By default, the chart presents the top 5 topics showing the strongest growth over the last 10 years, though topics can be added or removed from the chart using the topic selector.
