Datamaran analyzes qualitative unstructured data, i.e. text of corporate reports, regulatory initiatives and news articles.
Datamaran does not track quantitative information, because the metrics are inconsistent, sometimes reported differently across reports. Companies use different methodologies, and often look at different scopes, so the only way to do this fairly consistently is to analyze the narrative.
