[Double Materiality module]
Datamaran’s IRO Hub now supports Custom Criteria Scales, giving users more flexibility and alignment with internal frameworks. These enhancements are designed for organizations with specific scoring models, allowing greater consistency and integration in double materiality assessments.
Using custom criteria scales allows the analysis owner to define a custom numerical scale (any from 0 to 6) for all IRO scoring criteria—including Scale, Scope, Magnitude, Likelihood, and Irremediability. Many organizations use internal scoring systems that differ from Datamaran’s default 1–5 scale. With custom criteria scales, users can seamlessly apply their in-house methodologies, enhancing comparability across systems and reducing manual alignment effort.
How to set up a custom criteria scale
1. Access the IRO Hub
When opening the IRO Hub for the first time in a new analysis, the analysis owner will be prompted to define the scoring scale.
Select a numerical scale between 0 and 6 to be used uniformly across all scoring criteria.
3. Save and run
Once selected, this scale will be applied to the current analysis and any future versions derived from it.
How it works
- The selected scale is analysis-level, meaning all collaborators (owners, contributors, reviewers) will use the same scoring system.
- This setting cannot be changed once the analysis is created. To apply a different scale, you must create a new analysis.
- Scores will persist consistently across all future versions of the analysis.
- The connection between certain IRO classifications and criteria remains intact (e.g., IROs marked as Current still receive maximum Likelihood).
- This feature is only available when starting a new analysis.
